If Freeman somehow works out ok at 3b we need to trade Phillips to the Dodgers and let Camargo start at 2b the rest of the season.

Dude complained about not getting enough playing time after the Cubs won the World Series. Also just **** on his starting pitcher to the media for not giving him a chance to throw runners out. I wouldn't touch him with a 10 ft. pole no matter how well he's hitting.

Freeman will not work out ok at 3rd. He will look like hot garbage. Doesn't have that quick first step.

Interesting that Camargo has already posted 0.4 bWAR in what amounts to 11% of a full season. I'm not seriously suggesting he is a 4 win player, but I have a hard time envisioning Freeman/Adams out producing Camargo/Freeman.

There will be folks that declare Freeman at 3b a success when he "catches everything he gets to". I promise you those exact words will be typed by at least a few pozzy Barves on this very board. You know who it will be.

Freeman's already a success. Protecting Camargo's 3B defense from the bench.

who should get colon's next start? is there any chance they look to sims? I don't want them to, but I think they'll go Medlen. I'd rather it be Sims.

No one/Newcomb, because it would let us do 5 man rotation?

Just go to a 5 man rotation and cut Colon. Sucks but nobody will trade for him and we'll just have to eat the money. I guess we could send Luke Jackson down and put Colon in the "Collmenter" role.

His defensive war would be like -2.5. The Adam Dunn of 3rd base

Who struggles getting the ball out of their glove to throw more, Adams or flowers? I swear it's like they're handling a ball covered in oil

no.. Jackson can get guys out at least. Colon needs to roll off into the sunset.

Flowers is also terrible at fielding throws at home. Luckily for the Braves framing is like 10x more important than all that other stuff combined.

I completely agree. Just saying that Jackson has options and that role is exclusively used for garbage time anyways. If the front office insists on getting "value" out of what they spent on Colon they could put him in that role.

I'm certainly not enjoying this colon performance, but colon isn't the only brave(s) out there sucking it up tonight. Colon can't have his team mates playing like crap around him

I think we're seeing Colon's problem is not his oblique. Colon's problem is that he's done.
