If I have no insurance, and I am desperate to have it... you know what I do I would go to google and say "when can I enroll in ACA?"

I know your pain. The premiums make it difficult to put anything in savings, then actually getting care has to come out of savings. The past couple of years of health expenses wiped everything in my savings out.
Nothing will ever change until we completely re-evaluate the nature of actual medical pricing in this country.
I may have used this example before but when my son had a check-up one time, his pediatrician took a small tiny piece of ear wax out. Got a bill for $60 on that.
