Nah. I could care less about records, I just want to see the individual players, especially the highly ranked ones, succeed. Seeing guys like Albies absolutely tear it up makes me happy enough.

I'm concerned with player development on the farm not record but you're gonna have folk that say with the talent we have that should translate into wins

I echo what the previous two posters have written. A lot of guys have been pushed aggressively and that means a lot of on-the-job training. I've been satisfied with the progress of most of our key guys, so it's all good to me.

Wonder what we do with demeritte next season. Rio at AAA and Riley will most likely be promoted to AA. Going off nothing but memory, didn't demeritte's offensive collapse coincide with his move to 3b?

His collapse did start after the move. I think Demeritte and Camargo need to get some games in the outfield. Try to turn those guys into super utility players since jace is not an option anymore. Both guys are good infielders already.

As well as prospects are doing record doesn't matter to me. I'll take three starting pitchers under 21 and pitching well in AA over a winning record any day.

It may be weird, but I hardly even look at the scores of the games; I just focus on how individual players did.

So many times a SP will have a good outing and a non-prospect reliever will give up 3 runs in the 8th.

    BA Hot Sheet: http://www.baseballamerica.com/minor...ULsJGO3WjFq.97

Wentz is #10: A two-way prep player, Wentz is all about the mound now. He uses his 6-foot-5 frame to drive the ball down and has cleaned up the control issues he encountered in his pro debut. Wentz doesn’t overpower batters but his fastball has good armside run, and he has feel for his curveball and changeup as well.

Helium watch talks about Yunior Severino's hot start: The Dominican shortstop signed last July for $1.9 million and has already come to the U.S. after just 37 at-bats in the Dominican Summer League. Scouts believe Severino could develop big power because of his strength and bat speed, which is propelled by his quick wrists. For a 17-year-old, he shows precocious strike-zone awareness. Signed as a shortstop, Severino has played only second base in the GCL as he teams up with shortstop Kevin Matian, a Top 100 Prospect, in the middle infield.

Wentz is one of the guys I look forward to tracking every start these days. He's really turned it on. Going to be fun to watch Severino and Maitan the next few years.

So is Severino going to be the Freeman to Maitan's Heywood? Love that both are switch hitters. They should reach the majors just as Swanson and Albies are in their arbitration years.

I'm pretty sure he's the ARod to Maitan's Griffey.

Coppy to MILB.com about Ian Anderson's recent disappearance:

"[With Ian] being a Northeast kid, we just want to be extra conservative this first full season," Atlanta general manager John Coppolella said. "Nothing out of the ordinary. … [We're] resting him to preserve innings more than anything."

Severino with another RBI double in his first at bat today. Average up to .407.

Concerned that all the prospects won't be here next season? Sure.
Has there EVER been a statement and question a certain someone should absolutely never have made and asked publicly more than...

Kinda pathetic to see yourself as a message board knight in shining armor. How impotent does someone have to be in real life to resort to playing hero on a message board?

Really excited about Severino and have been since I read about his power shortly after signing.

He now has 2 H today, as do Waters and Gutierrez (1 2B). Things are starting off well in the GCL, for sure.

He really seems to load his swing well (#notascout)

Severino is also a lot smaller than I had thought.
