Bet it's crossed Kushner's mind
Bear in mind that Al Capone was imprisoned for tax evasion and Clinton impeached over lying about a consensual affair
The best way to stop a bad guy with a gun is to make sure he doesn’t get a gun.
Oh, poor baby, big tough General can't take having the law strictly applied to him by people who don't like him. Maybe he shouldn't have advocated for an insane criminal justice system then. Most people don't have the resources he does to fight charges.
If he did nothing wrong then there was never any reason to exclude these contacts or to plead guilty. It's not like he was forced to sit in prison for 2 years awaiting trial like they do to poor blacks that have to give up the right to a speedy trial to get a public defender that don't give two ****s about their case.
So lock him up, lock him up, lock him up, lock him up. Is he locked up yet? Why not. Criminals need to be in cages. That's not my words, it's his.
"Donald Trump will serve a second term as president of the United States.
It’s over."

Wait, now you're talking about proof.
I'm just responding to your hyperbole. "Nothing that sniffs collusion" is a hard sell when the campaign/admin has repeatedly lied and omitted contacts with Russians. Hell, just Papadoplous lying to the Feds about his contacts is a whiff of collusion, even if it turns out that it went absolutely nowhere.
The skeptical take might very well end up being vindicated. But, right now, that is hanging a lot on the probity of people who have consistently lied, omitted, and misled both the public and the investigators.
Doubting the motivations of the media and the previous administration is not unreasonable. But neither is doubting the veracity of the Trump camp.
So, why do we think Mike Flynn lied to the FBI?
