    All star game GDT

I know if you are a braves fan there's not much reason to watch especially with the love fest for Harper by Joe buck. But the unbeatable Alex wood gave up the games first run. We made a good deal!

Amazingly, Bryce Harper's hat flew off during a play he made earlier in the game since his helmet falls off every at-bat he plays against Atlanta.

It was also humorous to see that bloop by Sano fall in the triangle of Nationals (Murphy, Zimmerman, and Harper).

Anyone notice the dude behind home plate holding the atlantapeachmovers.com not bad advertising! It'd be better if people in Atlanta had a reason to watch this game!

What is Buck talking about? Fast-paced game? The game is roughly 2 hours old, and we are still in the 6th inning. Fast paced would be going into the 7th at the 90-100 minute mark.

Hm...I felt like the game started at 7:30 despite being listed at 7 because Fox. Oh well, can't remember.

Same old result. At least it doesn't count anymore. I would have loved to have watched baseball in the era when the NL dominated.

as a kid the Al-Star game was magical. Bunting and banners in red white and blue, the NL vs the AL, back when the only other time they faced each other was the World Series. It was special to see the players from the other league as we didn't have 24 hour sports shows and news. It lost a lot of its luster the day they instituted interleague play. Oh and it was not unusual to see top players play 6, 7 innings or more and pitchers to go 3 innings. I still remember the first time I saw the game in color!

While I can't comment on seeing the game in color for the first time I would agree with this. To me its not really the same anymore.

Did they really have both Joe West and Angel Hernandez umpire this game last night?

Were Laz Diaz and CB Buckner unavailable to finish the quad?
