Is there a better example of the interests of the few exceeding the interests of the many than the FCC's attempt to target Net Neutrality? Pretty much no one but ISPs want net neutrality. It means no good for any small fry on the internet as companies like Google, Facebook, etc. can have the money to prioritize their streams and force new players to get ruined. Add in that certain ISPs have vested interests in companies (Verizon with Yahoo, AT&T with DirectTV, Fox, Comcast, and ABC with Hulu, so on so forth)
So imagine a world where if you have a VErizon Cell Phone, you cannot access Google as quickly as Yahoo. That's a potential reality if this goes through.
Irony of it from an outsiders POV, is that the Republicans the people who want a "free market" preach about "capitalism" etc. are the ones pushing this which this is just a total slap in the face of the freemarket.
