Where is Giolito ranked? He's another Wisler to me.

Gio was already falling. He will drop a lot by mid season. Lopez will fall some too.

Haha what's the bet?? Because it already sounds like KLaw and JJCooper still think Atlanta has a better system than Chicago.

You said it's a foregone conclusion that Chicago has the better system than Atlanta, but do you just ignore the prospect guys who have already disagreed with that?

He has done so much better than Coppy on big trades, it's not even close.

We should be allowed to applaud good work

Love the prospects he has gotten back for sure. When the ink dries we will see many mistakes like gio and Lopez are looking like as of now. Heck, even moncada is showing worrisome signs.

Are we just going on the return, ignoring what was given up? Because Hahn had much better pieces to trade, it's not even close.

Very good trades, no doubt. Can't believe they got Theo to give up Jimenez, but then he also traded Torres for a rental.

But the best piece we've traded is Miller...and we got an absolute haul for him.

    Passan just said Sox #1.

Frame the bet with an objective measurement. I'll gladly make a leave the board bet with you too.

Is Passan really I much of a prospect guy? I count Longenhagen, Law, and Cooper as the top analysts.

Why??? Why does everything have to be a bet, and a 'leave the board bet' why in the world should that happen, I like it here with all you weirdos. Sometimes

You may be right, but it also does doesn't seem to be as conclusive as you said it would be.

Because he's an egotist that has to show everyone how right/smart he is. He goes with this "leave the board bet" because he knows most people won't take it and it makes him feel bigger about himself that he got someone to back down. Of course he has nothing to lose with this bet because he wouldn't honor it if he lost.

Wisler is a weird comparison, but I agree he looked like a bust when the White Sox traded for him. The Sox were dumb not to get Robles back in that deal instead, and shouldn't have made the trade unless they gave him up.

He's Wisler in that both were really good in the low minors, got highly ranked, but saw their success erode as they moved up.

It's not a deflection. A ban bet it stupid and pointless.

So if someone disagrees with you, they have no "ideas of their own" and pop off "pointless comments". Get the eff over yourself dude.

Giolito got really high up there. He was a top-3 prospect at one time, wasn't he?

There's no way anyone can conclusively say the Sox have done better on big trades.

He was really high. I think he was number 1 on some boards. But his draft status had something to do with that.
