every pitch is ending up around the same spot... unless he completely misses. Snit might need to get the pen ready now.

I loved the braves playing well; but it's hard for me to pull for them to win when we started sitting one of our best prospects and talking about trading Albies. I think a good dose of reality is good for this FO.

Dave Martinez needs to be given serious consideration to manage the Braves I think.

He really should consider a smaller/lighter body.

I was happy with the team winning but if we had a good week, and were close in the WC, i think Coppy might have made a big move for a SP or hitter. Which isnt needed right now.

If we have a bad week, and lose 5-6 games this week, it will be easy to sell and not do anything til this winter, next deadline. And play Dansby more, even call up Albies since i think the Super 2 deadline is well past.

I really do get the Newcomb upside, having seen him pitch a few times now, including once in person.

But I also feel pretty qualified now to say that he wasn't walking guys in the minors because of bad umpires, bad lighting, or bad defense.

Huh? What part of missing his spot by 2 feet is good?

I guess you're just being funny

Here is reality. Swanson has been terrible and doesn't deserve to play. He has one month that isn't horrific. He'll get another chance. Otherwise he would be in AAA.

The Braves haven't traded Albies and there are no reports that they were ever serious about doing so. Chill out.

no.. the fact that you are completely wrong is the joke.. he didn't miss his target.. and just like Bryant/Rizzo, he has to get inside to righties and away from lefties.

That was so much more of a Newk type inning. I will take the walk.. he was nibbling and got behind and didn't give in.. But he worked inside and out in that inning..

So you think Swanson sitting on the bench is good for the future of the organization? He needs to be playing whether it in Atlanta or Gwinnett. Jace Peterson can PR just as well and let Swanson play SS at Gwinnett.

Lol, Suzuki set up on the outside corner, and Newk missed to the inside corner. WTF are you even talking about?
