Maybe we got a better offer

I'm a fan of Garcia. I wouldn't be opposed to offering him a deal in free agency next year.

Why would the Stros need garcia. He wouldn't sniff their playoff rotation and they don't need someone down the stretch to protect a 20 game lead.

we need to extract as much value as we can from him and move on with this. I want to trade him just to get guys up from AAA to start.. I-Me needs to go before he turns back into himself.

Regardless of how the Twins deal shakes out, Garcia does not need to make another start for us. Negatives in him pitching for us far outweigh the positives

You have to trade him before tonight. You cannot allow him to possibly get injured knowing his history.

This has to be the longest publicly drawn out "finalized" trade for a non-impact player in the history of MLB.

It's like selling a broken down old lawn mower for $20, then making the guy wait a day in case your neighbor wants to give you $21.

We don't know it's the Braves causing the wait

What if the guy down the road offers $35?

Actually I just gave my old one away to our renters when they bought their own house. That's what made me think of that analogy haha.

I bet you've had plenty of experience with 'scratchers' in your neck of the woods.
