two things. The kiss cam confirms that the Iron Piggies have the ugliest fans EVAR!!!

Acuna is FAST.. Beat out a grounder to SS.. in the hole a bit.. but JP took a second too long and Acuna flew down the line..

Acuna is up to 15 homers this year already. He's only 19 years old.

If Acuna could cut down on his K rate and walk a bit more, he'd be Troutian.

However, Acuna actually had a higher wRC+ in AA at age 19 than Trout had in AA at age 20.

Any way you slice it, we have a special player on our hands.

Bryce Harper went from A to AA at age 19.

During that season, he hit 17 HR in 452 PA with 26 SB and a K% somewhere between 17.7% and 20% (too lazy to do math)

As 19, Ronald Acuna has gone from A+ to AAA. He has hit 15 HR in 417 PA with 24 SB and a K% in the mid-20s (but keeps going down).

Things are going to get real good starting next year. So many cheap productive players provides all types of opportunity.

I only saw one Acuna at bat last night but for me it was such a positive. He busted it down the line and stole a hit from a lazy defender. They were up 8-2 at that point too. The kid has some wheels.

    We may have two.

    Acuna and Maitan.

Those are two guys I'd be building the future around, IMO.

That's sleeping on Albies my man.

I think we have three legit position players that are just about a lock to be real good ones. If somehow a Catcher emerges and Riley works at 3b, we are pretty damn solid.

Maitan to 3B. Hopefully Dansby works out at SS.

Lots of candidates for catcher. I like William Contreras.

Bottom line is the system is loaded. As long as we can avoid bj Upton deals (sadly Kemp is looking like one) then we are going to enjoy a lot of 90+ win seasons.
