Swanson was clearly a mistake from the front office. Nobody is perfect for sure and many missteps have been made.

I think you folks are way too worried about his psyche. Beyond the financial implications, it doesn't much matter to me. Prospects are there to be given opportunities and there is no harm in their struggling at times and moving up and down.

It's a mistake they are likely going to keep repeating.

With who? Why is it a mistake? Other than Swanson what argument could be made that players are being rushed that have been detrimental to them or the organization?

It will start with Albies who I have no doubt will be starting 2018 in Atlanta. You should be able to figure out the rest from there.

A full season of AAA is not enough?

Lowest BB% and highest K% of his career this season.

Overall he's hit 269 with a 729 OPS at the AAA level and is currently 20 years old. What's the rush?

Using his aggregate performance this year is sloppy.

It's just the facts man. He hasn't hit well at AAA. Why do we need him in Atlanta to start 2018 other than to fulfill the needs of some fans to see a shiny new toy play?

He is not Heyward and this is not 2010 when the Braves are expected to compete.

It's a misleading narrative to say he has stuggled in AAA this year.

There's no harm in sending your top prospect up and down and when he is up he's benched? The front office is on a mission to get these kids here so they can show off the new park and compete before they are ready. Hopefully they don't repeat their mistake with Albies, Acuna, Soroka, and etc but I have a feeling they will.

So the increased strikeouts and low walks don't concern you?

I guess the bigger point is that he hasn't dominated so wildly that we need him up.

There literally is no rush. Holding him down til June is a smart baseball decision, and is completely justifiable.

Considering his aggregate numbers included his slow start I am not.

How would you define domination? I believe his wRC+ is in the 130 range from the mid point of may onwards.

You think his performance warrants a promotion?

To start 2018? Absolutely. He has been very good at AAA this year.
