Jeffrey Ramos 2-2 with a HR (4) today in the GCL.

He is batting .284. 18-year-old who was a less heralded signing in 2016.

Abraham Gutierrez is 2-2. Batting .269.

Jean Carlos Encarnacion hit a double. He's up to .337.

    Severino 0-2 with a K. He's down to .295.

Tarnok pitched an inning with a K.

Juan Contreras has pitched 2 innings with 2 BB and 0 H.

Brave, brave Braves man over at Tomahawk Take is Alan Carpenter. Rated Top 50 midseason prospects after doing Top 100 in the offseason. While there's plenty of room to quibble, he also includes 17 "mentions" with up-to-date scuttle on each. His info is good; I tip my hat to him.

Biggest surprise: Pache at No. 6. Joey Wentz "only" 14, Bryse Wilson 27.

Assessed 67 players in Braves' system, but nothing on J.C. Encarnacion.

Quietly having a solid season behind some of the more heralded signings. Curious to know more about him. GCL is not a big HR league, so there must be some power there.

Pache at 6 is surprising. Maybe the A's look at him just as high

I think Pache projects to be elite on D for CF. Probably why future WAR projections rank him so highly.

As Msstate said, hopefully the A's think just as highly of him!! hahah

I'd trade him, Sims and top-tier guy for Gray.

Jeffery Ramos on a tear lately. He's 4-5 today with a homer (4th of the year) and a double, moving his average to .298. He's still striking out a lot, but nice to see him start hitting better. He was one of our lesser known July 2 signings last year.

Ramos has 25 RBIs in 21 games. That'll get you noticed.

He is my 3rd favorite prospect after Ronald and Maitan.

Acuna with a ground out to 3rd. Average at .280. K% at 20.3%.

His BABIP was .333 coming into tonight, which is his lowest number since he started full season ball.

Ronald's not having great luck right now. Trout had a .390 BABIP at age 19 in AA.

Pache plus sims is my ceiling. I'm not adding anyone from top 10 unless I can lock him down for another year or two with team options and set the arb yrs

I would hate it if they traded Pache tbh, he's just a little behind Acuna (doesn't hit for power)...if he continues to develop an Ender, Pache, Acuna OF would be pretty impressive
