Dansby being sent down to AAA

Per Bowman. I get doing this, not sure why they benched him the past few weeks.

Braves have handled this real bad. Glad he is going to get a chance to play with albies / acuna.

Lol. Kid goes 2-4 today and he gets rewarded with this. Havent been a fan of his this year with his play but he deserves better than this foolishness.

Side question- how long does he need to stay down to get an extra year of control?

This front office. Man. After he goes 2-4 today. After rotting on the bench for a month. Freaking amateur hour. It should have been done 3 weeks ago

This is what happens when you let a moron like Snitker manage your ballclub. Dumb things happen. They all look like clowns for rushing the guy last year.

As much as I have enjoyed their process for acquiring talent, I can't stand the way this FO handles promotions/demotions. Between this, the way they've handled Blair/Wisler and some questionable promotions, I think they try to get too cute with things to the detriment of the players.

Ugh geeze...why now? They have really screwed this kid over. Needed to do this a month ago if they weren't going to play him

I hate the promoting wisler to be a reliever. Most likely he'd struggle as a starter too, but it's a role he's comfortable with

Let's hope they don't do the same crap with the next wave of talent coming through. But the are going to need someone besides ol play the hot hand to manage them.

I might be way off but I think I remember someone saying earlier in the year that he'd need a month or so in the minors to regain it. Anyone know for sure?

I hate to think this way, but does this possibly mean Albies is on the move? The FO/management has handled this whole situation terribly...f'ing clown shoes

Anybody think there is a disconnect between the FO and coaching staff?

Now that he's going down, don't bring him back till he's raking.

He came up August 17th last year, so almost the rest of the season pretty much.

Yep, and he needs to do it a miniumum of two months. I say leave him down the rest of the year. Depending on how he does the rest of the year. If he was a good rest of the year, invite him to Spring Training next year to earn a spot. If he has a bad rest of the year, don't even invite him next year. Start him off in AAA. Let him work his way back in.

I think there is only about 6 weeks of the minors season left.

Leave him down for the rest of the season. Promote both him and Albies next year in mid-April.

    Profit.

Swanson clearly needs to be in AAA. But now, after his first good game in a month. It should have been done 3 weeks ago or not at all.

FO has screwed this whole thing royally
