Those of us horrified by recent events need Maholm to pitch a perfect game.

Here's my thing. And I'm not complaining yet. Why is Heyward sitting?? He just off the DL and every AB he could get would benefit him in getting his timing and looks back down. Why not give Gattis or Justin the day off.

We don't know whose choice or decision it was. He was out of game action for a month, so maybe he's not back to form yet. I'm sure he'd be in there every chance he could get to maximize his at bats and wipe off the rust.

Gonna be tough to lock up home field with the way the Cards are playing right now. Need to jump out to a big early lead tonight so we can coast. Also would be nice for Maholm to pitch lights out. 7ip, 0er.

Heyward is still trying to get his legs back under him. Fredi said on the pre-game show they didn't want him playing five straight days. That's the reason why. You kind of have to let him ease back into things right now. 30 days is a long time, it's like spring training all over again. That said he probably will play the next four games and then you are off until next Thursday.

Two concurrent perfect-games and hitting for the super-saiyan ultra mega-cycle would be even more reassuring.

What does Constanza have to do to get a start or even playing time? With the way Schafer and BJ are struggling, I would have liked to give him a chance for some ABs. Last year he did a decent job

I mean, for ****'s sake, is it possible we could just score a few runs against the Milwaukee ****ing Brewers, Lohse or not?

Wouldn't it defeat the purpose if the Braves score runs and still lohse?
