True, but he got the Braves Ttam Smada, who has dramatically increased his trade value since joining the Braves...just like Garcia dramatically increased his trade value with that single start.

Nobody in Atlanta is buying tickets to see Acuna, but they are buying tickets to see Smada and Garcia.

So Acuna and Yepez are probably even.

Eloy Jimenez is 20 years and 8 months old and has hit a HR every 22 PA in A+ ball this year. He has 0 stolen bases.

Ronald is a year younger and has more power and has stolen 35 bases while playing A+/AA/AAA ball.

Fangraphs has Eloy's FV at 60 while Ronald's is a 55. Just laughable.

Are you aware that FG hasn't updated their rankings yet since pre-season?

Ronald is 0-2 tonight with 2 groundouts. His bad luck on balls in play continues.

Leibrandt for Lehigh Valley really attacked him in those first two ABs. Was down 0-2 on the last one and he fought back.

His K% is now an even 19%. Mike Trout's in AA at age 19? 18.4%.

Ronald just gunned down Leibrandt as he headed into 2nd for a double.

Yeah, but it was a go ahead clutch double, resulting in a win. Albies still hasn't gone on an extended roll, but he's right at the top of the IL in hits. Not bad for his age.

Ozzie has 114 hits in 399 AB at age 20. 38 of those hits have been for extra bases. 21 stolen bags.

Ronald has 120 hits in 388 AB games at age 19. 42 of those hits have been for extra bases. 35 stolen bags.

I can't wait until this dynamic duo hits Atlanta.

Andrew McCutchen at 19 years old in A and AA: 590 PA, .297 AVG, 17 HR, 22 SB, 21.1% K%.

Ronald Acuņa at 19 years old in A+, AA, and AAA: 435 PA, .305 AVG, 15 HR, 35 SB, 25.2% K%. (on pace for 20+ HR and 50+ SB)

McCutchen is of course a 5-time All-Star and former MVP.

I would say Cutch is probably Acuna's floor. It would be disappointing, but we could probably live with it.

Trout posted 10+ WAR in his age 20 season. That's probably the most likely outcome for Acuna.

Cutch offense with Andruw Jones defense as floor. Hoping for more though.

    Acuņa's potential is absolutely scary.

You need to remember he only had 97 games of Minor League experience before his explosion this year.

He also seems (to my eye) to be carrying a bit of baby fat. He will add more power.

And the ball already flies off his bat. He goes dead center. He goes oppo- doesn't matter. He hit one dead center in AA this year that went at least 450'.
You're going to need calipers to test that. The eye test means nothing.

    Darryl Strawberry at 19 in A ball: .255, 13 HR, 22 2B, 6 3B, 31 SB, and a 20.4% K% in 513 PA. .381 OBP. .429 SLG.

    Ronald Acuņa at 19 in A+/AA/AAA: .305, 15 HR, 21 2B, 6 3B, 35 SB, and a 25.2% K% in 435 PA. .360 OBP. .504 SLG.

People need to know that what Ronald Acuņa is doing is legendary. They made a 30 for 30 about Straw.

What made you pick Strawberry out of curiosity?
