    Should we steal more often?

With the amount of double plays we ground into, we'd have to be successful like 20% of the time for it to pay off

Next year we will steal very often. Acuana, Albies and Swanson. Don't care about 2017 anymore

Inciarte and Phillips are the only threats to steal, I miss having guys like Furcal and Bourn. Inciarte needs to work on that part of his game for next year.

Even guys like Furcal and Bourn didn't steal that much when they were here. Unfortunately stealing bases is just not part of The Braves Way

Depends on how much u get caught. They've done studies and getting caught stealing is much worse than the benefit of stealing. Have to be like 66% plus iirc maybe more

Not sure the numbers on hit and run frequency, but I'd focus more on that.

Depends on what we're talking about stealing.

It's more like 80% for it to really be worth it and add real value. Very tough to do. Refusing to steal is not a 'Braves Way' thing, it's actually very much a new age, Sabermetric thing.

Agreed. 70-75% is just the break even point for stealing 2B. I think more than just having base stealers we should do our best to have good base runners. Being able to go 1st to 3rd on a regular basis is much more beneficial.
