So we have a SS, a utility guy with a great arm, and a career 2B. Let's play the SS at 2nd, the utility guy with the cannon at short, and the veteran 2B at 3B.

Weird move excited to see him play though.
We have gone through some rather elaborate contortions to get Matt Adams in the lineup every day. I understand he's hit well for us, but still.
I've been highly critical of some other promotions over the past couple years, and I'm skeptical of this, but I'm not outraged. Albies has been hitting quite well overall since June, and seems like he might genuinely be ready. I would have preferred a September call up, but I'm not that against it.
This might be the first game I've been excited for all year since Opening Day.
Definitely taking the rest of the night off to watch.

I for one am super pumped! If he does well we could sign him to a Longoria type deal buy out his years!
Adams is like Kemp in LF, with less offense. What could go wrong?
Snitker says Albies is the regular 2B from here on out...
No opportunity given at Short? Wow.

predictions.. What year will it be when Ozzie finally faces a pitcher older than him. I say 2019..June will be the month..
Coppy
I'm in the club who says that Albies can handle short every bit as well as Swanson, if not better. Granted that it's in an inexpert opinion based on small samples, but still...
I suspect Swanson is the SS of the future, too, but I think we should be past coronations and foregone conclusions at this point, right?

At what point did I say anyone shouldn't voice their opinion? Yours differs - why does it need to be a big deal? Everybody here is a fan, and the Braves couldn't give two *hits what we think or we'd be working for them.
Everybody's got to break in some time, and that third deck makes a difference for a lot of kids. Albies was going to be the Opening Day 2B next April, so what do you really gain by keeping him down IF he's going to play every day? As long as Phillips or Camargo (meaning Snitker) don't make him a part-time player, who cares? I'd personally like to see if he can play at this level before I say the brass knows less than I do - I'm a fan, not an executive. If he's the Braves' 2B six years from now, it's worth second-guessing, until then it's just *itching.

Has there EVER been a statement and question a certain someone should absolutely never have made and asked publicly more than...
Kinda pathetic to see yourself as a message board knight in shining armor. How impotent does someone have to be in real life to resort to playing hero on a message board?
