2018 is a big year. They need to make some decisions. I think they will make a big trade.
Ozzie is young but he's had a lot of minor league at bats. He's spent a lot of time in the upper minors. IF you think he's your 2B in 2018 I don't have a problem getting him up now and letting him get some firsts out of the way.
Right now we seem to be saying we are playing for next year with the Ozzie move. If we are consistent for once I'd do this:
1B:FF...and I'd tell Kemp to play some innings here
2B: Ozzie
SS: Comargo
3B: SRod...maybe an occasional Phillips. Santana has no business starting.
LF: Kemp/Adams
CF: Inciarte
RF: Neck
Let the kids play. Hopefully Swanson hits really well and you can move him back and move Comargo to 3B. I wouldn't play Ruiz unless I moved corner OF guys and was playing SRod there.
Yeah, Phillips will probably be waiver trade
Or he's our starting third basemen tonight 😂
The FO is managing the team like they have no business sense at all, like it doesn't matter a bit.
Everyone wants to discuss the "putting fans in the seat factor"
If that was an overriding consideration then they would have made a splash trade, after all how many more people can Albies be expected to produce over BP, an Atlanta guy with Atlanta area followers.
The other thing everyone glosses over is the 40 man impact. Abbie's didn't have to go on but he's there now
Just really shortsighted and unquestionably dumb

I'm afraid they do know and still are doing it
Ignorance can be excused to a certain extent because by definition they don't know any better
Knowing it's stupid and still doing it is just insane

3B has been awful since chipper. I don't think it matters.
Dansby isn't tearing up AAA. In that case I don't really care who plays 3B the rest of this year. B/c if Dansby was doing well I'd put him back at SS and let Comargo play 3B.
Every day Albies is up he better be starting. At this point I think they need to play comargo and see if they think they have an everyday anything.
