Cold weather pitchers take a longer time to develop.

Newcomb is really frustrating to watch. So much potential if he could just throw strikes.

Might as well let Newk try to finish there. The game means nothing. His development is way more important. Snitker is the exact opposite of the guy you want managing a rebuild.

Seriously might as well leave Jackson in to bunt.

Newk had 110 pitches already, I was annoyed he didn't have anyone up in the pen when Newk hit 104 pitches. We shouldn't be leaving young pitchers in to pitch 110+ pitches when they are laboring and struggling. That's some Dusty Baker type crap.

Really like Lane Adams as a pinch hitter. Lot of power, lot of speed, and aggressive at the plate.

I think Albies will probably be fine, but I want to see more of the left side swing, it seemed slow yesterday.

    Newk looks like a reliever

Maybe an Andrew Miller type but still not a starter

That's the sort of play that lands you back at Gwinnett

Out or not, not a smart move by a guy trying to make a name and find some more permanency in the bigs. Not good Adams, not good.

I don't really understand how walking 7 guys makes you look like a reliever. The stuff plays just fine when he throws strikes. It isn't going to play in relief if he walks guys either.

It was pretty close. He was dead to rights but the tag was bad and really quick.
