    Ric flair

He's in a Medically induced Coma. I hope the guy pulls out but he's really had decades of partying. The upcoming ESPN feature on him looks great.

In addition to partying I'm sure he did roids too.

I doubt he did rounds. He was never that muscular after the 70's or so. Maybe he did then cause he was jacked when he first got into wrestling.

Along with Roddy Piper, head and shoulders above pretty much everyone else. There were better wrestlers in the ring, but Piper and Flair perfected their personas like no one else. Four Horsemen was an act like no other and Flair was at the center of it.

PS--Flair was much bigger physically when he got into the sport, but slimmed down. I wouldn't be surprised if he took some supplements at some point to try and battle the aging process, but I doubt he was into the science of steroids like Superstar Billy Graham and others. I'm afraid for Ric that it was the booze.

I don't know if it was 300, but this is his "rookie" picture from 1972 when he wrestled in the old AWA and it's obvious he was a lot bigger in his early years.

As for the Nature Boy. I grew up watching AWA on WTBS (along with the Braves, the only two things I watched on that station....well the music videos), Flehr was very cool back then and how he thinned out was remarkable. Like others on here, I believe it was alcohol mix with some drugs that are not compatible to his system that brought his body down. I just wish he would stop sooner as he was an awesome manager for his daughter Charlotte.

I don't think this ends well to be honest.

On a personal note 50, I will be participating in an independent event in a few weeks. I am an enforcer like Arn Anderson. My softball teammate is running it and asked me to scare some of his wrestlers. He ran one of the Independent scenes in Minnesota a while back.

For those unaware Ric is in bad shape & had to be put into a medically induced coma as they operated on him.
So prayers to Ric & his family.

Meltzer told a great Ric story that involved UFC
Ric called up Meltzer to see if Dave can get him tix to a UFC event.
Dave contacted Dana & Dana called Joe Silva to ask him "where do we sit Ric Flair?". Joe responded "we build him a huge throne & have him put it anywhere he wants - HE IS RIC FLAIR"
So Dana had front row tickets waiting for Ric

Ric went out to lunch with Lawrence Taylor & Steve McMichael & got so wasted that he never even showed to the UFC event <45>

    Naitch is Naitchin 24/7

    Good luck

The GOAT deserves more than an hour and a half on ESPN.
