Based on the amount of looting and rioting my guess is just about every viewpoint is represented by atleast 1 person doing the dirty work. The only thing thats clear to me about who is responsible is that there are strong propaganda forces at work here. Its almost like watching a puppet show.

Not surprising. Keep supporting this movement guys. I'm begging you.
Let's do the math. it's an election year, this is about the same time that Hillary's emails started leaking. And there were already reports of a surge of new accounts being made. Interests outside of America are seeing this is a peak time to sew disorder in America. Nothing the Russians and Chinese want more than to sew disorder in America and have us lose faith in our systems.

You can start a thread on Boogaloo Bois.

I can go ahead and tell you I dont support them.

For some reason, you are unable or unwilling to do the same for antifa

Because Antifa isn't really a thing. Grouping together all Anti-Fascists and making them negative is moronic.

Its a sort of loosely allied, philosophically aligned group or groups. But it is a thing. More prevalent in Northern California, Oregon, Washington. It is a movement. I wouldn't call it left wing but they seem to travel in left wing social circles. They are violent anarchists. Opposed to the "oppression" inflicted upon them by society. They will never get anywhere but they are spoilers. The people who should really hate them are the demonstrators sincerely trying to advance their cause.

They have their intellectual gurus and inspirational figures. Similar in some ways to ISIS. I actually knew two of them when I lived in Berkeley.

One of them was named Air. That wasn't his real name, but what everyone called him. Hi Air if you are still out there somewhere. His sister is a nurse. Her son went to pre-school and played little league with my son.

The funding is kinda murky. Some of them are trust fund babies. Others mooch off friends and relatives. They are basically a parasitic class. Air was a pretty good uncle when he wasn't off somewhere smashing windows.

Fantastic city with a wonderful culture to it. I lean center right, but always found myself having interesting philosophical discussions. Berkeleyans get a bad reputation but I find them to be open to listening to ideas even if they are close minded.

What were you doing in Berkeley?

I came out west mainly for family reasons. I had started a small consulting business that let me do so. I had one Republican friend while living there. She and I bonded over voting for McCain in 2008. It was our dirty little secret.

My lefty friends were very excited about Obama, which had me worried. But he ended up being far too much of a centrist for their tastes.

Saying Anti-fa is a thing is like saying Pearl Jam fans are a thing, there's a real collection of people, but it's hardly an organized concerted effort. Just a lot of people who agree on a general idea.

They have a philosophy, intellectual gurus, and a loose organizational structure. That makes them a thing in my book.

That's fine. But they're not the cause of all problems. Especially because I didn't see Antifa looting in Camden, Newark, Detroit, so on so forth. COuld it be that the prime cause isn't Antifa, but opportunists and people who feel threatened by militarized police?

I agree that not all instances of looting and window breaking is tied to Antifa or similar groups. There are free agent chuckleheads doing their own thing. There does seem to be a correlation between whiteness and that kind of activity. Which might be why there isn't much of it in Camden, Newark and Detroit. So far.

Seeing no issue with a president attacking peaceful protesters and a govt being able to call any protestor they don’t like a terrorist
