Radio not happy with strike zone. Is it really this bad today?

The Ozzie triple was absolutely smoked.

It probably is if you're a Braves announcer trying to sugarcoat the fact Sims has allowed more walks and more hits than IP so far, and hasn't struck anyone out.

Swanson with a mental mistake that looks like will cost runs.

I would guess a whip of 1+ is the norm for most all MLB pitchers, no?

Didn't see it. Radio says Albies did dansby no favors with the long underhand

Yeah, but Sims is at 2x that.

    He is not good.

Hot take from Chip and Joe: Markakis > Heyward because he has a higher batting average and more RBIs the last few years.

Good for Dansby. The Braves desperately need him to right the ship.

10-2 Braves, this is fun. Perhaps we should do it more often.

That was an off speed pitch(a slider I believe) that Dansby clubbed. Good to see.

Swanson's at-bats have been wayyyy better the last couple of days. I hope it was all just mental. Great to see Albies hitting too

hahaha, I saw that too.... nary a mention of defense, just that Kakis has had more RBIs..... yikes.

Also, was really fun to watch Ozzie beat out an infield single, steal second, and then have Swanson drive him in. I like it.

Also, also -- Sims looked OK today. Not an easy place to pitch.

Sims is scrappy. Might turn into a good #5. After last night...I'll take it.
