Isn't looking at the sun just as dangerous yesterday and tomorrow? Pretty sure it's looking at the sun that's bad, not just during an eclipse

More dangerous during the eclipse. Can't remember my high school physics that well, but I believe it has something to do with light picking up intensity when its source is partially blocked. But you're right that looking at the sun isn't good for one's eyes.

Official scoring first four games of Miss-Chattanooga series beginning tonight. Looking forward to seeing Allard for the first time, but Lookouts swept a six-game series from the M-Braves in Pearl back in July.

Another day, another loss for Schlosser. If Rome makes the playoffs, it'll be because they quit giving him the ball. He has suffered a loss in five straight appearances and is 0-6 since July 24. He's given up a run in his last eight appearances.

The worst is that he was the losing pitcher in the 16 inning and 17 inning games in recent weeks.

LOL WTF? An eclipse isn't concentrated light...

Any added danger is due to the fact that your pupils are dilated due to it being darker outside, so they let in more light when you look at the eclipse.

This is basic physics people, come on haha. Southerners are always good for a laugh!

If it deals with eye dilation, that would be biology.

All sciences are physics when you drill down deeply enough.

Sure has. I'd like to see a bit more then possibly shut him down if he got to around 40 IP?

He was optioned when Kiermaier was activated from the 60-day DL.
