He will be a fine back of the rotation type pitcher. Guys that can locate a changeup are more valueable than most think.

Take away the 4 run 1st and Sims has been great. He and Newk (granted Newk's was painful), are the only starters to keep us in games lately. Maybe we should start all rookies next year lol.

95 pitches I presume. I would have loved to get 7 out of him tonight, but I'm okay with them pulling him now.

I thought his pitch count was little lower... still wanted to see him try and get another inning

Sims was probably pulled because he has only struck out 3 guys that weren't the pitcher, and they didn't want him to face any of the M's hitters a 4th time.

And according to King Pozzy pitchers like Sims have HUGE value, so they want to be careful with him.
Whatever... snit just couldn't wait to get his 7, 8, 9 deadly combo in

The success of the Braves for the next 5 years hinges on them being a 5+ win duo. It's encouraging to see them showing signs of figuring it out.

WTF Snitker? Just let Freeman finish the damn game at this point. Talk about over-managing a 4-run game.

I hope Viz makes this a 4-3 win just so we can further see how stupid this move is by Snit the Twit.

One out, two on and Viz struggling to hit the strike zone--didn't need this.

I've been surprised by Sims. The minor league coaches did a good job with his development. The Braves brass seems to do a good job of being patient with guys as starters when other prospect people label them as relievers early on. If he can be a 4th/5th starter that will be good value for his rookie contract. If he can have an outlier year in the next 1-2 years he could up his trade value enough to sell high on before he costs more.

btw...even though everyone seems disappointed by Albies "slow start" he is at .729 so far in the majors.
