Cops in Florida are Baker acting homeless who refuse to go to shelters. I am mixed on this, I will give the popo the benefit of the doubt on this one so long as they don't beat them, kill them, or use it as an excuse to charge them with a crime like battery of a police officer of they sneeze.

Here in Athens, Ga., about an hour south of the mountains in the northeastern part of the state, the hotels are slammed and roads packed with Florida tags. And the grocery stores are way low on bread. Thank God there's not a football game here this weekend.

Luckily, this hurricane aggressively slowed down and won't be so catastrophic.
I guess that also means that praying worked and man-made climate change isn't as bad as we thought (since climate change was the reason the storm was so strong)

Irma came through pretty weak. Hoping everyone is safe.

It did some pretty good damage but could have been much worse.
Been out of power since Monday noon (after the storm left ironically). Finally came back on! Wasn't whining like most first world complainers. Took my cold showers and what not. Just glad it's over with.
