This is one of the better speeches I've heard.

I literally cannot see anything negative about this speech. A perfect compilation of humor and advice to young students entering the adult world

And yet, I decided to read the facebook comments. And probably 70% of all the comments were disparaging the speech as racist and condescending, and literally mocking at the idea of "being the best person you can be". And unsurprisingly, I'd estimate 100% of the people complaining about it were leftists.

Is that the sentiment here? If 57 and goldy and julio and jpx and runnin watch this, do you roll your eyes and throw an insult at the guy? What do we presume is driving this immediate skepticism of what is seemingly such an honest extension of advice?

Just baffling to me how something like this could be divisive
