BREAKING: Only 26% say the U.S. should have a major role in the conflict between Ukraine and Russia - AP

Democrats favor the US having a major role over Republicans 32-22%

Because the territory is irrelevant for the safety and security of America.

Biden and the left are headed off a cliff with the midterms.

They know the American people have short attention spans so anything to get their mind off of the destruction of our nation.

Wars have a unifying effect on countries short term.

I’m not sure that Biden’s base is the “yay war” type, man.

Why do you suppose Russia was aggressive with Obama and Biden but stood down with Trump?

He was aggressive under Bush as well. I’m not sure what the answer is, but I think it’s a tad self-serving for Americans to suggest the US is the only nation controlling Putin’s actions.

I think the people who spent four years saying Trump was a Putin puppet should be able to take a shot on why trump was able to keep Putin at bay

Sounds like you think it was coincidence... But why wouldn't Putin strike while he had the puppet?

I never bought into Trump being a puppet of Putin, so you’re barking up the wrong tree here. I agree with the conclusion that Putin wanted Trump to win the 2016 election, and I think the Trump campaign welcomed any support they could get from Russia to win the White House. I don’t think there was any sort of explicit or even implicit agreement between the two parties to govern in any certain way, or that Russia had any sort of leverage over Trump. If I were to venture any opposing guess as to Putin’s timing, it would be that Putin felt Trump was the best option to align with Russia’s global interests, even if it wasn’t as partners or even allies. Trump’s public comments on NATO, the UN and China worked just fine with Putin’s interests, and it’s at least conceivable to me that he would be willing to wait patiently a couple more years to help keep Trump from needing to take any decisive action against him. But you’re right, I feel a coincidence is more likely.

Well that's convenient. Biden told us Putin was scared of him. Since then, Biden removed sanctions on norstream and Putin is invading Ukraine

Can we get the puppet back?

Anybody who voted for Joe Biden because of his impact on Vladimir Putin is an idiot.

You’re dramatically underestimating how many people are idiots.

Man, it’s been great stepping away from the stupid **** the three stooges are still posting here

Shocker the haters of democracy are siding with Putin. They and their orange cult leader admire Putin

Hopefully Ukraine can prevail and the other western democracies can back channel or directly help

NATO was no threat to expand to Ukraine under Trump. Odds are Trump would be defending Putin if he was President.

He and his ****ing cult are calling Putin savvy. Never thought I’d see the day where the so called republicans and self proclaimed Reagan lovers would be giddy to support Russia instead of democratic countries

They really are just following the same steps and talking points as the last time “America first” had this much support. Weird that another war in Europe was happening then too with a strong leader who invaded countries unprovoked etc
