Kemp still a valuable player if managed properly. Everybody knows how that goes.

Kemp clearly was hurt this year so the two questions i have.

    1) will he ever have a dull healthy season and just how much rest do we need to give him

2)What does a healthy Kemp season look like

This guy throws an 87 slider/cutter that might give Swanson fits.

And he tries to sneak an inside fastball by Swanson. Why does anyone try that?

How close were those rips by Swanson to being fair?

Kemp needs one day out of 10 off. Along with late game D replacement.

Probably produce about like this year without that terrible stretch where he was clearly hurt.

Here is how the Giants managed Bonds in his mid/late 30s:

Year, Games in LF, Innings in LF, Innings/Game

    2000 141 1152 8.17
    2001 143 1231 8.61
    2002 135 1115 8.26
    2003 123 1044 8.49
    2004 133 1130 8.50
    2005 13 95 7.31
    2006 116 875 7.54
    2007 110 842 7.65

The Braves need to do the same thing with Kemp as the Giants did with Bonds after 2005.

Gohard is as advertised. Not a finished product but potential through the roof.

Seems to be missing high a bit, but that will probably settle down as the excitement wears off (hopefully)!

Finally a legit pitching prospect that isn't a turd(Blair, Wisler, Sims, etc.) or a project (Folty/Newk).

Hard to argue and it gives us a great opportunity to get a lefty hander that plays great defense and hist righties well.

Could Kemp have a 900 OPS in a more limited role? I'm not as optimistic about that anymore.
