I should note that the triple was all on Kemp. A decent LF has that

    Aaaaaaand Kemp sucks.

Who said "it's baffling to rely on young pitching and then stick the worst corner OFers possible behind them"?

Gohara will need to figure out the change vs RHers or he won't make it as a SP.

Also - while this start means nothing to me... there was simply no reason to call him up

And another one DeShields chased off the plate outside.

All he needs is to make RHers think about the change.

Just watched the vid of Ozzie's triple. It's crazy how quickly he was making the turn at the second.

Choo is completely over matched by Gohara's slider. I almost feel sorry for him.

Overall, a really solid outing for Gohara. Needs to work on his control, but the dude's stuff is electric. I actually like him way more than I thought. He's a more polished version of Newcomb -- incredible stuff.

This is not true. Without any improvement, he still is a 3rd or 4th starter just on stuff alone. His command is better than what he showed today. He was squeezed badly too. Stop making definitive, exaggerated statements. He's a league average starter right now. He will need the changeup to become that frontline guy.

I tend to agree with everything you post, you just go to extremes sometimes.

Not a bad outing at all, you see the potential...got squeezed a bit & Kemp managed to turn an out or single at best into a triple...so tired of him in the damn OF

I am not doubting on Gohard's stuff. I have been a believer for a while now. I just think we shouldn't swing one way or the other too quickly. He is a project just like Folty and Newk. Blair was killing the minors before being called up. I just don't think after 29 pitches we can definitively say he is X...

I am not a fan of Wisler. The best thing he has going for him is he still has options, but like Blair I'd be looking to cut bait and move on.

How many runs did the misplay cause? I see there was 4 in one inning. I'm hoping all of them
