Snit made a poor decsion and we have to pay for it.
I think we have reached the point where Wisler needs to be non-tendered this offseason. He just doesn't justify a 40 man spot. It's sad because he flashed some potential at the beginning of last year but I just don't see a future role for him.
Folty and Newcomb have stuff. I get the appeal. Blair and Wisler? They have average stuff.
Albies...
I missed the game but just saw the highlights. The opposite field homer by Ozzie was impressive. Little guys aren't supposed to have opposite field power. So much for the rumor that he can't hit from the left side.
If it plays out like the splits have it right now Albies absolutely is good enough from the left to be a really, really good player.
Aggression with prospects is fine, but being stupid is not. There should be a way to find a happy medium between a Pirates like idea of being overly cautious with prospects and going stupidly fast with prospects.
