For the life of me I don’t understand why Garcia is getting a start and batting ahead of Lane and Swanson...throw Camargo in the OF and leave Ruiz at 3rd, Camargo couldn’t be worse than Adams, Kemp or Garcia
Also, was Sims scheduled to start? I know it doesn’t really matter but just leave the guy in the BP and see what you got there... I thought Fried would get the start even with Folty missing a start
Perhaps I'm misreading this but if Snit/FO think that Sims needs to be looked at again as a starter over Fried they are out of their minds.

It’s really quite mindblowing isn’t it? Bradley was ****ting on Snit in his article today

Sims got a little extra giddyup on the fastball tonight.

The braves' bullpen is gonna be sick next season
I remember when Minter was a bad draft pick.
tremendous inning by Minty

The reaction I remember is that some felt drafting a TJ recovering patient that high was a waste. Soroka indeed drew negative comments because several of the self-proclaimed experts couldn't find scouting info on him (he was not an obvious guy, to be sure). The Riley pick; wasn't there a sentiment that he would or should be a pitcher? I may be wrong about Riley; the Braves have had a bunch of guys who fell into that category.

"I am your retribution."
What a brilliant idea, keep gifting hits to Turner.
I think that was the biggest issue people had with both the Soroka and Riley picks, at least I know it was for me and from what I remember for most posters at the time. At the time I was miffed we didn't go with a bat with Soroka's pick and grab Soroka with the next pick. Obviously in retrospect it wasn't worth taking the risk Soroka wasn't there. I don't remember many being overly critical of the Minter pick outside of being wary about the TJ angle.
If Albies isn't going to steal with 1 out and Camargo batting, when exactly is he going to steal?

Just because ... I'd to remind 50 that he thought calling up Minter was "incredibly dumb move." Yet another reminder that we should thank God that no one on this board is in the ATL front office.
Gee rico. Thanks for being a jerk. It's not about Minter's ability. It's about the fact he didn't have to go on the 40-man roster over the winter and his presence on the roster may limit the Braves' flexibility in pursuing free agents or picking someone up in the Rule 5. I won't speak for Horsehide Harry and Enscheff, but I believe they agree with me on this point. There's nothing that Minter is showing now in relatively meaningless games that couldn't have been discerned in spring training 2018.
A lot of people -- myself included -- agreed with you. Nothing has changed my opinion or could for the exact reasons you mentioned. In fact, I don't think anyone was against the move because of talent or being ready. It's all about 40-man numbers. Weird shot by rico here.
