In theory we shouldn't mind the Dodgers given that most of this team is better against lefties than righties but the regular season was so ugly I don't think I can toss those results in the trash. If they end up in the playoffs (which of course isn't determined yet but getting closer) I think they're going to the World Series again. They're easily the most talented team in the NL and better than Chicago still, even if Chicago has the best record in the NL.
Aggression with prospects is fine, but being stupid is not. There should be a way to find a happy medium between a Pirates like idea of being overly cautious with prospects and going stupidly fast with prospects.
if russell being an average player wasn't enough to not want him...

I know the Marlins couldn't have predicted that Yelich would be as good as he has been, but man that trade is looking like a disaster for them. They could have gotten a much better package from the Braves.

The rumors were the Braves were interested in trading some of their pitching prospects that were ranked in the middle of the top 100 lists. Whether that's true or not who knows. The Marlins were asking teams for their top rated OF prospect to replace him which is why they insisted on Acuna and ended up with the Brewers top OF prospect.
Baltimore getting rid of Showalter, Braves please.
