I know as a buyer, i'm not giving him the dollar amount he is going to ask for.
I can’t imagine he wouldn’t get 4 or 5 years at a higher average salary than what he has left. He’s Clayton freaking Kershaw and somebody is going to bet on that.

Tommy John is about all I see affecting that.

Yeah i still think he'd get at least 4 years, 120/5/150 at the very least unless he had TJ.

But his back issues are becoming pretty concerning, he's still Clayton Kershaw though.

More proof Odor is a punk turd, but I’m more interested in Simmons’ response:

Simmons refused to elaborate further as to what happened on the play.

"Nothing," Simmons said while eating gelato. "I was trying to tell him, 'You forgot to say hello to your family for me.' He's like, 'No, I didn't forget, I told them.' I was like, 'No, they told me you didn't tell them.' He wasn't very happy about it, so it's OK.

"... I'm gonna eat my gelato and sleep well at night."
Newcomb’s been great, and I like Swanson; but neither is NotNot.

This is possibly my favorite quote by an athlete. Reminiscent of the line from Game of Thrones, “A lion doesn't concern itself with the opinion of sheep.”

Yeah, that's definitely it. I can't imagine putting those extra innings on his arm when he's had so many problems.

It did not go well for ol’ Jonny Ventar—5 runs in 0.1 ip, and the Zombie Expos with a firm lead now.

Congrats to Matt Kemp on winning MVP I guess. 3/3 tonight with a homer, 3 runs scored and 5 RBI. Now hitting .355. Kinda wish we still had him, but that would mean we didn't have Culberson

    Your obsession is pretty sad.

That said it seems to be the year of the meh outfielders with both Kemp and Neck beasting.

Put a huge smile on my face. I love JHey

I checked his Fangraphs page after that and noticed that he has a career ISO of .149. It’s still crazy to me that a man that strong never really tapped into his power potential.
