    AZL Best Tools

Pipeline came out with their best tools list today and Ronald Acuna was at least considered in every category

They gave Acuna the best power grade, but he was also considered for best hit tool, fastest runner, strongest arm, and best defender. They gave best hit tool to Luis Urias, but I am really skeptical that he has a superior hit tool to Acuna. Robles took fastest, Mejia took best arm, and Guillorme took best defender all of which are probably accurate, but it was nice to see Acuna among those considered for those as well. It usually take a lot for me to get overly hyped over a prospect, but there is just no way not to be thrilled with the idea of Acuna in Atlanta.

Touki got the grade for the best curveball, but I was surprised that Max Fried wasn't even considered for this. Riley was also considered for most power. Alex Jackson didn't get any consideration.

It was interesting to read for sure.

Fried and Jackson were not part of the equation as they are not on the "all-star" roster. Teams select which players make that team and with Fried pitching today it makes sense he is not on that roster.
