Pumped! He’s been my favorite candidate to date. I️ just wish we would have held off on the Snitcker option and let him choose his own people which I’m sure he will do if we are sucking by the all star break. AA did get rid of what was the worse contract in baseball at the time in Vernon Wells, so maybe he can get rid of Kemp too. This offseason should be exciting.

Did John Farrell used to be Blue Jays manager during Anthopoulos years at Toronto?
I wouldn’t expect AA to immediately come in and start wheeling and dealing. I’m sure he’s going to need some time to familiarize him with what’s in the cupboard (and wait to see what MLB takes away).
With that said, in time we are going to get a real unbiased analysis of these prospects.

This is terrific. Hendry would have been a nightmare. Hart is not the devil/anti new age guy, that clearly is and as been JS. Hart can stick around playing golf and thwarting JS as long as he wants.
You have to think spending time with the Dodgers that he saw the benefits of using sabermetrics.
