    Competitive balance dfraft

From old size of 10 teams to 14 now. This is 2017's draft order. It will be flipped for 2018 order. This order is not final as some of the picks might be traded.

    31. Pirates
    32. Rays (Compensation for Rasmussen)
    33. Orioles
    34. Padres
    35. D-backs
    36. Royals
    37. Indians
    38. Rockies
    39. Cardinals

    Round B

    70. Marlins
    71. Athletics
    72. Rays
    73. Reds
    74. Brewers
    75. Twins

From MLBTR --- Why are there now 14 teams instead of authorized 10???

Major League Baseball has set the order for Competitive Balance Rounds A and B of next year’s draft, reports Jonathan Mayo of MLB.com. Those rounds, which take place after the completion of the first and second rounds, respectively, are comprised of picks awarded to teams that are considered in the bottom 10 in terms of market size and/or revenue.

If we end up losing a pick I could see AA going after one of these.

Not selling may not end up being that bad a choice for DMGM and the Royals after all - they stand to get 5 of the Top 40 picks in the draft if things fall their way.
Has there EVER been a statement and question a certain someone should absolutely never have made and asked publicly more than...

Kinda pathetic to see yourself as a message board knight in shining armor. How impotent does someone have to be in real life to resort to playing hero on a message board?

I️ could see the Dbacks, Cards, and Indians being a trading partner for one of their picks.

Competitiveness isn’t a criteria for these picks.
