15 black men were exonerated after officer Ronald Watts was caught demanding protection money or he would plant drugs. All these men told police about this and they were ignored. One victim said he was told "it is what it is" when he asked another cop for help. Eventually Officer Watts did this to someone working for the FBI. Don't give the FBI much credit it was totally accidental as they were not investigating this officer. One of the victims was even framed twice by this officer and did 2 separate prison sentences. The sad thing is that in the end this cop only gets 22 months in prison which is less than these black men got. How ****ed is that.

Y'all can keep burying your heads in the same but the problem on police corruption is real and widespread. These aren't isolated incidents. These aren't a few bad apples. We have to take away the tools that bad cops use to victimize innocent people. All the talk in the media about racists and statues but we need to tear down the laws that were born to further racist goals. It's not an opinion that the drug laws were created to victimize minorities. It's a fact of history. 66% of prisoners in my home state are black. At what point do we take up arms to free literal slaves?
