Corporate layoffs at lowest level since 1990.
And this is worldwide. Luckily for those workers impacted in the US we have one of the most robust job markets in the last 30 years.

Are you that really partisan? Unlike Obamacare, the tax bill actually saves Americans money!
Don't you get it. The left doesn't want America to succeed.

    LOL

Democrat state lawmakers in California say they want some businesses to give half their tax-cut savings from congressional Republicans’ tax reform package to the state.

Notable that almost all these companies are announcing one time bonuses,

which is like giving a tip, rather than *raises*,

which entail a long term commitment to higher pay.

Well there's a good thing the department of labor tracks wages and earnings which show excellent growth for the middle class.

The democratic message is so pathetic.

    Goodness you're pathetic.

I'm guessing the millions of employees from Walmart, jp Morgan, wells Fargo, bbnt, capital one and countless others are pissed about their wage hikes.

Go dig up the ACA thread and remind us how much money has been wasted

BodA CEO assured us in a conference call that although they are raising wages for some workers, the bulk of the tax savings was going to go to dividends and buybacks.

This is the thing about the bill. Proportionality. It's good that some folks are getting raises and bonuses. Let's see how much it moves the needle and how workers fare vs investors in the long term.

You conveniently exclude real job growth for full time positions with bebefit packages and not bit jobs during a 8 year term that was governed by leftist policies.

In the ramblings about the tax bill in just the past 24 hours reports of 5500 layoffs at Kimberly-Clark (makers of all things, tissue paper) and the lost 23,000 jobs due to the senseless tariffs imposed on the solar industry.

Let's do the math. K-C layoffs.
Let's assume the average salary of those laid off, $40K per x 5500
    equals ????

    Solar jobs lost
We have to assume a high tech industry would average more in salary (before tax bill) but for conversation sake we will keep that $40 per number
    times, 23,000
    equals ???

I dont think they can take all of this prosperity granted them through this tax bill
Whatever rrr , the greeters at WalMart got a tip.

But, Trump promised sturg and the rest of the TikiBoi's a windfall.
Tell me again which of Trumps promises he kept --- off hand, something about Mexico ...
$24M fraud settlement etc etc etc

But like the battered woman his sycophants are, "he means it this time "

    LOLGOP‏ @LOLGOP

    LOLGOP Retweeted Adam Smith

TRUE: Charles and Elizabeth Koch contributed nearly $500,000 to Paul Ryan’s

fundraising committee after successfully passing the GOP tax plan in the

    United States House of Representatives.

    As @JesseCharlesLee said,

"Koch Brothers used their tax cut to invest in their workers."

Its almost as if they want to support candidates that support their policies? Should we list every donation that is made after successful legislation?

What's the argument against tax reform at this point? We are seeing wage increases and real growth.
