You are saying there is you (have) / there (are ) no links to answer questions on this bill that was intended to simplify the tax structure.

making billions upon billions for years making a few people of a family richer than over half the country combined
and they get praised cause they cite a tax bill that will make them richer by giving less than $3 a day bonus to workers
ah, i feel the trickle down

Lol you guys are sad.
Billions of bonuses have already been announced.
Minimum wage hikes have been announced by dozens of massive companies.
Yall can't be happy about that?
Vampire indeed. Premiums are crushing people in our corner of GA. I guess that's positive? Not from I can tell. No one is calling in looking for coverage that didn't have it before, and the only ones I've seen benefit are the people getting the gov't reimbursement which should be unsustainable long term.
People that had small group coverage before are getting slayed.

I'm just not sure the cause-and-effect here is as clear cut as you guys are suggesting it is.
Wal-Mart (for example) is not going to start paying workers more and offering better benefits because they want to. A tight and competitive labor market dictates that they should.
I think the message is more that the modest and temporary benefits that most folks will see from the tax bill don't do much to address the needs of their households.
And a $1000 bonus is terrific. My wife got a bonus like that (pre tax bill). Cool. That's less than 2/3 of our monthly child care costs. She has student loans. And let's not even talk about health care.
It's not that $1000 is nothing, it's just irrelevant to what actually hampers working families from getting ahead.
People wanna focus on the bonuses... That's fine.
But we've seen pay increases, 401k increases, cost reductions (utility companies), benefit increases, Capex commitments, charitable contributions increases as well.
The bill passed last month.
Not to mention the increase in stock equities and eventually earnings which should increase dividends
I'm not sure why this is being downplayed from the left. The benefits are helping everyone financially
