    Pretty much the same thing
    1- unload uggla
    2- extend freemen
3- sign or trade for a 2nd baseman
4- gattis laird platoon at catcher
5- minor Medlen and Teheran get Another year of seasoning

Have to do something about the Uggla/BJ disaster. I still believe in BJ but Uggla is useless to us.

I'm not against selling high on CJ but we need someone to play 3B. And with Uggla, EJ is not an option for 2nd. So we need someone there too. At this point Pastor might give us more than EJ or Uggla at 2nd.

I've been a longtime advocate of keeping McCann around. If we can do it relatively cheaply then we should. He brings a ton to this team, including the intangibles. He's our leader.

Who can we reasonably get FA wise? Nobody that I know of. If we keep the current lineup but manage to replace Uggla I'm okay with that, I think.

Pitching wise, Medlen/Minor/Teheran obviously. I'd try to sign Hudson to a 1 or 2 year deal with a team option. I have no idea if he would take it or not. Hopefully Beachy comes back strong. And then there's Alex Wood... long man until we inevitably need him to start? Either that or he becomes Huddy's replacement.

Bullpen is unpredictable but I wouldn't sell Kimbrel

Wonder if the Marlins will make Giancarlo Stanton available? Unrelated, think they'd take Uggla back if they don't expect to compete for a few years anyway?

Just fire Fredi and we'll be better. Your manager should help you win games. You shouldn't have to win games in spite of your manager.

I would resign Mac, trade BJ, try to unload Uggla, and sell high on Gattis. He's a flash in the pan and next years Uggla

Uggla and BJ are a mystery, but I'm still waiting on the final word of what happened to Andruw Jones and Jeff Francoeur.

Fold the club. The last 143 years of operation have led to a dead end.

This is smart; we could probably get at least 3 corn cobs for Elliot at this point, whereas we only had to pay two pieces of baby corn to get him in the first place.

I am sick and tired of Eddie Perez holding this team back. He's all "throw me the ball" and "lemme answer this bullpen phone." SHOW SOME LEADERSHIP.

Is that all you've got for our hour of need, more sarcasm? With fans like you it's no wonder we can't catch a break.

That certainly can't hurt. If we all eat enough, maybe we can summon the ghost of Jose Lima to enact vengeance upon the team that refused to re-sign him.

I didn't want to answer prematurely since I'm dumb and think we still have a fighting chance. But I couldn't resist.

I think the first obvious move is to name Eddie Perez manager and demote Fredi to the bullpen to further torment Avilan.

It should be a interesting off season for sure. I can't wait to see what team we pay to take on Uggla's contract only to see him hit 30 bombs and hit .250.
