OK, AA is garbage lol

Before someone says something, I’m kidding — that’s a haul. Good to see the Brewers going hard though.
I know nothing of these prospects, but if they’re less impressive than what Atlanta offered, it wouldn’t surprise me if the Marlins either preferred a good outfielder in any deal or demanded a greater return from a division rival.
@CraigMish
Stay tuned. Info coming.
If Realmuto is next.
So it would have cost us Acuna, Allard and Say Jackson...that’s stiff.
Interesting, if it was Acuna or bust then yeah i dont blame AA at all here.

Again there were like 20-25 teams in on Yelich. Only Brewers and Blue Jays made a dent. All other teams not close. Two team race in the end.
Going by the BA top 100.
Brinson was 18, Harrison was 75, and the other two were unranked.
Gohara was 23 and Soroka was 27. would have need one of those
Riley at 54
Fried at 72
Feels like Soroka, Riley, Fried should have been able to get it done.
I think I woulda pulled the trigger

The idiots that do that show at talking chop were willing to trade Albies as the headliner for Yelich. I thought that any trade headlining Acuna or Albies was not wise. I'd hate seeing either of them vs the Marlins every year.
That was the Brewers 1, 3, 6, and 21st prospects but the Braves 1, 3, 6, 21 is a hell of a lot different than other teams prospects.

I'm not sure the Marlins would have taken a pitcher as the centerpiece.
A more likely package would have been Albies plus Riley or Pache. Maybe Gohara plus Riley or Pache.
That would have been a tough package for the Braves to give up.
If the Brewers turn around and sign Cain, that opens them up to trade an OFer to the Braves. Santana for Teheran makes some sense.
