Could this be the week MLB wakes up?

Today is the Arbitration Filing Deadline which of course everyone who is left will do. Then in 3 days we have the exchange deadline which many teams who use the file and trial approach use as the hard deadline. Maybe I haven't paid enough attention in the past, but I can't recall such a small percentage of arbitration players not signed at this point (see link below) There will be a ton of 1 year contracts announced in the next few days, and I'm thinking there could be some trades as well.

Half of the top FA's are still available as well. Aside from Ohtani, the Marlins trades, and relief pitching market, it's been an extremely quiet offseason. Very odd for this late in the offseason.

It's 5 weeks until pitchers and catchers report! That's crtazy

The dominoes have to start falling some time. Maybe that'll happen after arbitration salaries as the big boys will know how much room they have to fit under the luxury tax and the small guys will know how much they have to fit in their budget.
