    June 8th:

1961: In a 10-8 loss to the Reds, the Braves become the first team in ML history to hit four consecutive home runs. Eddie Matthews, Hank Aaron, Joe Adcock, and Frank Thomas all went deep in the seventh inning.

2016: The Braves trade Kelly Johnson to the Mets for minor league pitcher Akeel Morris and cash. Johnson became the second player in ML history to be trade from and to the same teams in consecutive seasons. In 1997 and 1998, catcher Chad Kreuter was dealt by the White Sox to the Angels in both years.
