Those 4 under 18 led to civil rights legislation and all it entailed. John Lewis was 20 when he joined Freedom Riders and the kids at Kent State gave the country an " enough is enough" moment hastening our involvement in a war you have shown little knowledge of.

So yeah, " cultural revolution blather" or as most would recognize , a short history lesson

So, let's do what the NRA has been pouring millions of dollars into the political system to prevent, and that Republicans in Congress have turned somersaults to avoid, but we mustn't point out that either the NRA or Congressional Rs have consistently been the stumbling block for enacting it.

What are these 'people' lobbying for, exactly?

Apparently, they're lobbying for homicidal events, because guns can only be used to kill. That is their existential purpose, no?

Trump seems to be aboard the bump stock ban train. That one small, small part of the problem will take legislation. Does this Congress have the spine to do it? Doubtful.

Okay, now draw lines, and not to Paul Manfred (Mann).

That would be a real history lesson - not dropping Wikipedia links and randomly talking about the Civil Rights movement.

Yeah, we are taking about weapons meant to kill

This is the point of a gun

And if you're hunting with **** being used in the mass shootings, you suck at hunting.

Well, since you mention it...yeah. Certain types of weapons and accessories are existentially intended to kill and maim human beings. People who lobby for their easy availability are to some degree complicit when they are used for their express purpose. I fail to see how you can support further regulating them, but disagree with that consclusion.

Again, where the rubber meets the road, you're proposing a measure that is furiously opposed by the industry lobby and one political party, while simultaneously holding that it's wrong to point that fact out.

Yeah, absolutely. From your lips to God's ears. Now let's track who supports that and who doesn't.
