I know you aren't arguing for more social fabric binding programs from the nanny state, but it's pretty clear that society has been allowed to become too segregated. Perhaps too much energy is focused on the profit motive and not enough on the basic well-being of the people.

The most significant step we can take to reduce gun violence would be to end the war on drugs. Here is a study showing that there is a strong correlation between drug arrests and homicide rate. The more people we arrest for drugs the more people get murdered. It has some nice graphs showing homicide rates as compared to several factors like unemployment. One I know would shock people shows no correlation between drug use and homicide rate. Sessions can stick that in his pipe and smoke it.

Don't understand why the NRA hasn't lead the march against assault weapons.

Perhaps it is time for new leadership at NRA.
Abandon the Ted Nugent Wayne LaPierre & Marion Hammers

for honest brokers that want to insure gun safety and gun responsibility.

Leave the firearm as weapon wing behind

The best way to stop a bad guy with a gun is to make sure he doesn’t get a gun.

But imagine if we could cut our mass shootings in half?

There have been about 34 mass shootings since 2000. Forty-seven percent — 16 — were committed by first- and second-generation immigrants, i.e. people who never would have been here but for Teddy Kennedy’s 1965 immigration act.

I won't vouch for Mrs. Coulter's numbers. As a matter of fact, I don't even like her. But it's an interesting piece of data if it is true.

Here is another way we can reduce 80% of gun crime without punishing lawful gun owners: make it illegal to obtain guns illegally!

    https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/...=.e166a8ead85c

Lawful gun owners commit less than a fifth of all gun crimes, according to a novel analysis released this week by the University of Pittsburgh.

In the study, led by epidemiologist Anthony Fabio of Pittsburgh's Graduate School of Public Health, researchers partnered with the Pittsburgh Bureau of Police to trace the origins of all 893 firearms that police recovered from crime scenes in the year 2008.

We are talking about armed teachers, fortified schools,
lawmakers ridiculing kids who JUST survived a mass shooting,
130 WH officials who can’t even get security clearance.
Woman beaters, pedophiles & sex abusers running the show.

I’d say Russia won this round.

No it means that's the wright to defend ourselves is an inaeliable right that every person has. You want to rely in others for your protection. The same organizations that allowed this massacre to happen because of incompetance. If anything the parkland massacre makes me want to buy more guns and practice with them more. Government is incompetant.

Christianity has been fragmenting on its own since its inception and it is exclusive by nature. How many different denominations do you know in your area?

Government has not supplanted morality, but money certainly has.
