Nothing particularly new, but a pretty good take on the situation nonetheless. Other than possibly being able to get a stopgap 3B option or possibly landing Frazier as a potential long-term LF option, it's tough to complain about the lack of activity just yet. Other than Yelich, pretty much every trade target that's been talked about here is still out there - Archer, Realmuto, even Frazier for that matter - to be had.
I don't think AA's going to hesitate to pull the trigger when the time comes, but I'll admit I'm glad he hasn't done so just yet. The asking prices have simply been to high thus far, and given the SSS for the arms at the upper levels and Riley and Jackson I have a hard time getting upset about getting a longer look at most of these guys just to be sure they're not the "answers".
