I gotta disagree there. If you want an injury to nullify a bet that should be explicitly stated in the terms of the bet. TBH though that’s part of the danger of making a bet based on counting stats. Should have gone with rate stats with a minimum number of PA/attempts. This was a dumb and risky bet for SJ24 and it’s not gonna pay off.

Maybe Enscheff is going a little overboard but he’s right. SJ24 should be shamed a bit here for not living up to his side of the bet.

    Last night was so fun.
I hope you're right, but he's got a lot of ground to make up. Right not he's not even close to Soto

Soto and Brian Anderson are the leading candidates for ROY in the NL. Soto likely is the leader due to his hitting but he's so bad on defense.

It may not even necessarily be Soto. It could be Brian Anderson or even Walker Buehler if he can get back to what he was showing. Right now, Ronald is 4th (or even 5th behind Bader) and isn't even close to winning ROY. He'd have to absolutely explode this half.

The reasonable thought is Ronald ends up finishing 3rd...Soto sadly is the consensus ROY, and Anderson is 2nd. I hate that, but it's likely happening.
Aggression with prospects is fine, but being stupid is not. There should be a way to find a happy medium between a Pirates like idea of being overly cautious with prospects and going stupidly fast with prospects.

Good thing ROY awards mean nothing really except minor bragging rights. Acuna and the Braves will be playing in October while Soto and the Nats will be at home.

Acuna likely has the better career regardless of what happens this year.

Guys, Ozzie is clearly the leading candidate for ROY.

    Oh, wait...

I saw it mentioned here yesterday, but is there really any basis to believe Soto is older than 19?? Guys can really still get away with that?

    I’m sure they can.

He just doesn’t looke like a teenager really. I mean at all.

We need a good game from Ronnie today. I would consider that to be 0 Ks.

Who here would take 0-4 with zero Ks over 1-4 with a double and 2 Ks?

depends on whether or not the double produced an RBI
