    MLB.tv

So apparently my x-box 360 won’t be supported this year. If you had to choose between Roku or Amazon Fire stick, what would you choose?

It depends. Do you have Amazon Prime? If so, go with their stick (the Alexa voice remote is pretty nifty too - especially if you are already engaged in the Amazon ecosystem). I personally prefer the Roku interface though.

Also, what kind of TV do you have? The sticks don't support 4K content, have wonky WiFi, and usually run a bit slower. Their larger counterparts are generally a better long term purchase.

Hopefully the mlb.tv app improves after spring training, because it's a piece of crap this year compared to last season.
    thank you weso1!

i have a google chrome and a fire stick, and far prefer the fire stick. i like not having to cast stuff. i've never used roku.
Hawk mentioned the wonky wifi, but i think the newer fire sticks are better with that. mlb.tv has always worked well on the fire stick.

I have a few problems with MLB.tv on my Chromecast, but it works. I'll be getting something to stream Amazon Prime to my TV soon, so I'll get to test if it is any better.

Been using Roku for the past few years. Works great. It worked so well my wife stole it for the other TV, so I went out and bought another one.
