Testing and contact tracing in the context of reopening the economy is something that will require coordination--between states, between state and local. And of course there will be some federal involvement. How much and in what form remains to be seen. Some of it will probably be contracted out to the private sector.

Actually that's not accurate. The benefits being channeled through unemployment insurance and the Payroll Protection Program are pretty generous. I think there are a lot of people who have not applied for unemployment benefits who are in fact eligible under the expanded rules. There are some state systems that have been overwhelmed, but hopefully that is sorted out soon.

yeah the PPP will turn into a grant for most businesses
obviously from the lines at food banks, there are people falling through the cracks...we need to figure out what is happening with those families...i'm wondering if many of them are in the informal economy and are no longer receiving any income
