IMO this is the major benefit, and it isn't short term.

This is where most of our useful products need to be made so that we aren't groveling to a communist country with zero financial stability for our necessary goods.

Only one small sector of the economy but I can tell you from first hand EXPERIENCE (something you don't have in this area) that suppliers were slashing prices to keep competitive. So in reality all thats happening is that less money is going tinto the CCP's pockets and while some Americans end up paying overall more its not the % that is being pushed by the TAX FEDERATION!!!

There are lots of studies looking at price changes in various products in the Consumer Price Index, post and pre-tariff. The consumer took it on the chin. Plus thangs like steel and washer-dryers are hardly strategic products that would give the CCP any sort of leverage over us. We can't be using that to justify tariffs on everything. Some strategically important items sure. But there aren't that many of those.

Would those 10% spending cuts include programs that help poor families with children. You did say ALL. Just wanted a clarification.
